Each of the following sketches (scenes) can be used to form the basis for a complete act of worship or used as individual scenes on separate occasions. Each scene will require a narrator to read the linking text as well as the characters in the scene itself.

The Light of the World
When Jesus next spoke to the people he began by saying:
Jesus: I am the light of the world. If you follow me you will never walk in darkness. My light will fill your life and illuminate your being. It will guide you and give you hope. But the Pharisees contested this and argued with him.
Pharisee: How can you prove that? You are your own witness. Who else is going to testify for you?
Jesus: I don’t need another to testify on my behalf.
Pharisee: Then it proves nothing. You can say what you want.
