For those who are participating in a Covenant Service it is suggested that extracts from this act of
worship are used concentrating only on the Gospel reading and Isaiah.
For those wishing to acknowledge the passing of the year the following adaptations of Tennyson’s
words may be appropriate, otherwise begin with the second hymn suggestion.
