Third Sunday in Advent - Year B

This Full Service has alternative gospel readings.
It has been mainly focused on the Magnificat from Luke.

If the John reading is taken an additional hymn is included to relate to it.

Prayer: Loving God, we give you thanks

Hymn: Lord of all hopefulness, Lord of all joy or To pray without ceasing: such strange understanding,

Reading: Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11

Hymn: The race that long in darkness pined or Here is hope for all the people

Reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24

Gospel Reading: Luke 1:46b-55
