Description
This reflection/short sermon (1358 words) examines the first dispute within the Jerusalem church described in Acts 6: 1-7.The issue related to the distribution of food to widows which was seen to be unfair to the Hellenistic ones. The way in which it is resolved is seen as instructive and compared with disputes and their resolution in todays local churches. Lessons which can be learnt from this are highlighted.
