Description
This short reflection/sermon considers Habakkuk Chapter 3 where he bemoans at length the disasters facing himself and his people. These are largely related to the disastrous failure of crops. In the earlier chapters he is concerned about the threat of invasion and the lack of action by God. He then offers a way out of the mental and emotional consequences of his brooding on these disasters by recalling the strength and sovereignty of his saviour God leading to a joyful response. This approach is strongly implied in other parts of the New Testament as well as the Old.
