In Ezekiel, the Lord has warned the watchman. It is now the watchman’s task to warn the rest. If you see the eco movement as a watchman, then this should encourage you.
Paul also uses the watchman metaphor. He asserts that loving one’s neighbour includes a respect for his property and all that he depends on. This might be a worthwhile thought—the consequences of climate change are greatest among people who have the least influence.
