Matthew 14: 22-33
Elijah shows us just how important decent food is to us. Our
intercessions today might consider the imbalance of food production
and distribution. Fairtrade is one approach which at least raises
awareness of the issue.
The nation will prosper, according to the psalmist, as long as it does not
go back to its foolish ways. Is there a message here for our own
generation? Faithfulness and loyalty are key qualities needed in the
market place...
