Yesterday a young Christian man set off an explosion in Oslo, Norway, to preoccupy security forces, then took a ferry to a nearby small island. Hundreds of young people with political connections or political involvement were at camp there, with no escape from him, and he shot and killed nearly a hundred. He took the action in God’s name because he believed that God’s purpose in the Christian West was imperiled by the spread of multiculturalism, and specifically by the growing numbers of Muslims living in Europe, which he feared might turn Europe into a Muslim rather than a Christian culture.
