Prayers for those who work in hospitals and those who need to visit hospital.
Having visited our local accident and emergency department with my son who had broken his toe, every corner I turned there was someone else working to make the hospital work. Grateful for the opportunity to be able to walk into a local hospital and know that there would be treatment available inspired these prayers.

Hurting and healing God, we give thanks for all who work in the health service.
For those who clean, sweep, wipe, dust and empty bins.
For those who drive ambulances, working in homes and streets at the scenes of accidents.
For those who work on reception, that important first encounter with patients.
For nurses and doctors, for their training, experience and expertise.
