Warnings Against Compromise
Galatians 5.7-12

One of the few times I watch television is when I’m travelling, and find myself in a strange place, with my body-clock telling me I should be awake when it’s the middle of the night. Sitting in a hotel room, and wishing I could go to sleep, I sometimes flip through the television channels, hoping for something interesting to watch. After a while it becomes confusing: the brain finds itself jumping to and fro from a basketball game to a courtroom, to a domestic scene, to a car chase, to a lecture, to an advertisement, and back to another basketball game. The effect, of course, is that the mind becomes so confused that it’s harder to go to sleep...
