The most difficult thing I have found in Christian ministry is opposition from people I thought were friends, or at least colleagues, fellow-workers. One of the hardest parts, of course, is the nagging thought that people who disagree with me might be right, and that they are finding it just as awkward as I am to come to terms with the fact that I am disagreeing with them and opposing their ideas, plans and dreams. Whenever we find ourselves confronted by someone who disagrees with us, we need to remind ourselves that they probably feel that we are confronting them...
