Clear thinking, perceptive, a judge over Israelsee Deborah triumph where Barak might fail.
The people had suffered long years of oppression,
but she had the courage and God would prevail.
A woman of wisdom and known as a prophet,
astute in her dealings, and sure of her ground.
Her words and her actions encouraged the people,
gave nerve to the soldiers, her judgment was sound.
