We were at the stage where Ralph was beginning to help me with some of my consultancy work. I was asked to appear on television. We had to go to Bristol for the recording. We stayed in a five-star hotel that was supposed to be wheelchair friendly, and have adequate facilities in the bathroom. Sadly, this wasn’t the case. We came back from that trip absolutely shattered. While resting, my mind was working overtime, thinking of what we had just experienced and the lack of facilities that were available for people with disability. I suddenly announced to Ralph that when I died I wanted any money I have left to be put into a trust fund, to adapt hotel bedrooms for people with disability.
