Every new contact with counselling took me on a different pathway. Through the work with Carematch, Dr Greengross asked me to get involved with SPOD (Sexual Problems of Disabled). It is sobering for some people to realize that people with disabilities are sexual beings too. Because they sit in a wheelchair it doesn’t mean that they are sexually dead from the neck down. They have the same feelings as the able-bodied. This might be an area where I could specialize. I started to study this issue and attended various conferences.
