Description

The Third Sunday of Lent - Year A

Meditation on John 4: 5-42

Gaze on Jesus, tired and in need
of a rest. And more than that, he’s
terribly thirsty. The dust is catching
his throat, clinging to his eyebrows
and caking his lips. Seldom in the
Gospels do we see people coming
to help Jesus. He who spent all his
time in the service of others, must
have longed for people to show him
care, help, or a word of encouragement.
And so, this time, he asks for water...
