Meditation on Matthew 13: 31-33, 44-52
 
Gaze into the loft of an old house, left
undisturbed by three or four generations
of the same family. Feel the cobwebs
brush against your face as you enter.
Smell the dust and see it cake your hands.
Begin to tidy up and sift through its contents.
Slowly its secrets are revealed. There’s an
old Edwardian cot that would never pass
today’s Kitemark standards, and next to
 it a heap of battered suitcases full of faded ball
gowns. Over there is a pile of lampshades...
