Description
I am the prodigal
I am the prodigal son,
I’ve wandered far from home,
I’ve squandered all my inheritance
And now I’m all alone.
I have now returned home,
I just want to be a servant of my father,
But he has called for a celebration
And all the guests are starting to gather.
I am the older son
I’ve always stayed and worked at home,
My brother has returned to a feast
And I’m outside all alone.
