Loaves and Fishes: A story to share.
This is an interactive story suitable for all age worship or children’s address.
The storyteller may accompany the story with simple actions as described below.
When a dimension is mentioned – long, big, small the audience is invited to join in the repeat and copy the actions.
Actions are:
Long – move hands away from each other forwards and back.
Big – move hands apart sideways in two or three stages.
Small, start from the sides and move hands together in two or three stages.
Whenever the narrator says hungry – the audience and narrator say together, ‘I’ve got a rumbly in my tumbly’ whilst rubbing their tummy.
It had been a long – long day,
People had come a long - long way,
To hear Jesus talk for a long - long time,
And now they were hungry – I’ve got a rumbly in my tumbly!
Jesus disciples came to Jesus and said,
We’ve got a big - big problem,
It’s a big - big crowd,
With a big - big walk home,
And they are all getting hungry – I’ve got a rumbly in my tumbly.
Jesus said, ‘Well you do something.’
