Meditation/Monologue: The New Jerusalem
Was it on a wire, like some great Peter Pan on a west end stage?
Or did they use computer graphics? Perhaps it was a dream or some ancient painting? It just seems surreal!
'I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband'.
Imagination! It can run away with you. But go to one of our out of town shopping centres, the Trafford Centre say, or Bluewater, and you get a bit of the sense of it I guess. All sparkle and joy. Priceless, but at a cost. Think of an historic city in all its glory, Rome, Athens or Jerusalem.
