Prayer for those awaiting hospital tests
God of compassion,
grant peace, we pray
for all those who,
awaiting the results
of diagnostic tests
are fearful
of the consequences
for themselves,
their family and friends.
May they know
deep in their hearts
that certain knowledge
that you are never closer
than in our darkest day,
your light enough
for us to see ahead,
your strength enough
to carry us through.
God of compassion,
grant peace, we pray.
