This apparently simple – some might say “silly” – sketch requires 3 actors and need not be learned by heart providing the actors are very familiar with it and use scripts surreptitiously.The piece treats the subjects of prayer (Are we really aware of what we are saying? Do we mean what we say? What sort of answers do we expect?) and the meanings of Grace and Providence. It may be used as part of the opening ceremonies or devotions when the church family is gathered either for study or socialising. Equally it may be used in an act of worship.
