I'm Forgiven
Hello my name's Bob. I want to tell you something amazing that happened to me.
When I was younger I got in to all kinds of trouble.
I wasn't really bad, I didn't rob from anybody, of kill anybody.
I suppose you could say I was a bit of a tear away, I had no respect for anyone or anything.
I thought I had all the answers and was a bit cocky at times.
When I look back now I'm not sure how my parents didn't throttle me at times.
One day I was knocking about outside a church with my friends and again we were being a bit loud and boisterous.
Then one of the lady's came out to talk to us, I thought she'd tell us off, so i
was ready to explode with a mouthful of bad words.
But she said, 'instead of being out in the cold, why don't you come in for a warm drink and biscuit'.
I wasn't sure at first, but because it was so cold I decided to go in and my mates followed.
Inside she was true to her word and we had hot chocolate and a few biscuits.
There were some other kids in there I knew from school in another room and I asked, 'what are they doing?'
The lady said, 'they were at the youth group, where they talked about God'.
I asked her if I could go in and she said I could.
