With your eyes still closed. What do you 'see'? What images pass into your mind? Don't try to dismiss any of them, just acknowledge what comes. It may be that other sounds will intrude or become part of the images - that is OK. Take as much time as you want for this exercise and, if you fall asleep, so be it. It probably means that is what you need. Think of your most treasured possessions. If you had to choose to keep only three, what would you choose? If these are moveable and small enough, put them on your table, or write what they are on your piece of paper. Why are they important? What feeling or sense do they evoke in you?
