Galatians 3.10-14


I sat in the traffic jam for two hours. The road signs told me I was pointing in the right direction. From what I knew of the road it looked as though I was in the right place. But nothing was moving. The clock ticked slowly on; I worried about the meeting I was supposed to be getting to; but there was nothing I could do.

Then, quite suddenly, with a hooting of horns, we were on our way. The traffic picked up speed and we were soon moving comfortably down the road. About a mile further on we discovered what had been holding us up. There, by the side of the road, was a huge truck that had overturned. Cranes had now hauled it out of the way, and it lay there, a monument to the blockage that had changed the shape of our day...
