Year C - First Sunday of Advent
Luke 21: 25-36
A is doing the church flowers. You may want to wear gardening gloves and carry secateurs.
If you don’t normally have flowers in your church, use a pot plant.
B enters carrying a Bible and maintains a deadpan delivery throughout the sketch as s/he reads from the Bible.
B: There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and on the earth distress among nations confused by the roaring of the sea and the waves
A: Oh hello, I didn’t see you come in. What’s that you’ve got there then, weather forecast?
B: People will faint from fear and foreboding of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
