Description
Judas (the feeding of the five thousand - Mark 6: 30-44)
Judas was listening to the sound of the oars creaking in their grooves and the bubble of the water at the bow of the boat as it cut a course across the Sea of Galilee and away from the village of Capernaum. He could still see a large crowd gathered on the shoreline watching the progress of the boat across the sea.
Jesus, as usual, was resting, apparently asleep, at the bow of the boat. He had been amongst the crowd in Capernaum all morning. The poor and the sick were drawn to him, not only because of the stories they had heard about his healings and miracles…
