Romans 8: 1-11
'The accused'!
It felt strange standing there and hearing those words.
They were talking about me.
Fair enough I suppose, but we never like to hear the truth about ourselves do we?
'The accused'!
And then a clerk began to list the charges.
It felt a bit like meeting the ghost of Christmas past from Dicken's Christmas Carol.
All those little inconsequential things that you do or say and then forget.
Feathers let out of a bag to be blown in a breeze.
A small pebble on a still lake rippling interminably.
No end to the disturbance...
